about

Architecture where it meets operations

I lead the DevOps and IT function at Code7 in Jeddah — infrastructure, deployments, internal systems and production readiness for the products we ship.

My work sits where architecture meets operations: designing environments that survive real traffic, automating the path from commit to production, keeping access and security tight, and cutting cloud spend that nobody is watching.

Before Saudi Arabia I worked as a DevOps engineer on fast-scaling SaaS products in Bengaluru, and spent two and a half years delivering production websites and web applications as a freelancer for clients across healthcare, hospitality, design and consulting.

Current focus

  • Cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
  • CI/CD pipelines and release automation
  • Containers, Docker and Kubernetes workloads
  • Linux administration, networking and VPN
  • Access control and practical security hardening
  • Cloud cost visibility and optimisation
  • IT operations and Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace estates
  • AI agents and workflow automation

What I do

Cloud & Infrastructure

Architecting, migrating and operating AWS and Azure environments — networking, compute, storage, backups and monitoring.

CI/CD & Automation

Build and release pipelines, environment parity, deployment automation, and scripted operations that remove manual steps.

Security & Access

Access control, secrets handling, hardened servers, VPN for remote access, and practical security review of running systems.

IT Management

Full-picture IT visibility: identity, workspace tooling, vendor sprawl, licence waste and infrastructure nobody remembers paying for.

Cost Optimisation

Finding the spend that no longer maps to a running product — idle compute, duplicate storage, overlapping hosting, legacy vendor billing.

Product Delivery

Full-stack range around a DevOps core: taking a feature from idea to UI, API, database, deployment and monitoring.
